We had the best time and enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Charleston Inn. We were greeted with a warm welcome by Maiva, who was especially amazing. She encouraged all of the guests to fully enjoy their time, to interact with each other and made the house feel like home. Each room at the Inn was beautiful and it has the most relaxing porch, full of comfortable rocking chairs with plenty of room for everyone. Social hour on Saturday night was so fun, great drink selections and appetizers/snacks. We also enjoyed the breakfast that Maiva made. It was really nice to choose when we wanted to eat between 8:15 - 10am, instead of having to be at the table at a specific time which is usually the case at other B & B’s we’ve visited. When we decided to have a cup of coffee on the porch before breakfast, Maiva highly encouraged it and said to enjoy our morning. She is a true treasure, you can tell she enjoys being there and making the guests feel comfortable. The Inn was amazing (stocked with more than we could have expected), location was super convenient, parking is included. Our stay was truly perfect and we’re already looking for a time to go again! Thank you Maiva!!

I brought my mom to the Charleston Inn for Christmas and we loved it. Maiva and her daughter Chastina were the best hosts you could ask for. The charm and the antiques were awesome. It was like taking a step back in time. The extra amenities like water, coffee and snacks were just icing on the cake. Five stars!

Alicia and Mayvee are the best! Beyond helpful and nice! The place is comfy cozy and clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The front porch and rockers make it the southern inn it is! Lot's of history too. Will DEFINITELY be coming back!

This is the most charming hotel! Free on-site parking, walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants, and an excellent host. We were given a lovely snack tray and bottle of wine that we enjoyed on the front porch during an evening rainstorm. Great coffee bar and bottled water available. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our reason for four stars and only complaint is the bed. One side of our bed was SO SQUEAKY that sleep was nearly impossible. The smallest twitch was so loud. If not for the sound, the bed would have been really comfortable. All in all a great place where I would stay again, although I would definitely test the bed before settling in.

Just a great stay, Southern Hospitality at its best. Location perfect for everything we needed to accomplish. The Inn by itself is perfect, cannot say enough to truly appreciate the comfort and feel of what an Inn is suppose to feel like! The staff ( Mayva ) is a treasure, should you ever visit this Inn, you will want to return, it is just that special. Thanks for a great stay.

My husband and I decided to take a spontaneous trip to Hendersonville, NC and didn’t make any reservations ahead of time. We decided to stay at the Charleston Inn for their great location; walkable to downtown and breweries. We were greeted by Mavia, who was working the front desk. I must say if it wasn’t for Mavia’s smiling face, friendliness, can-do attitude, and welcoming demeanor, this stay would have been no different than staying at any other B & B places. She really made us feel welcome at all times, accommodated us at every turn, and one night she even came back in on her way out at the end of her shift to take care of our request. Thank you Mavia for making our stay so much more pleasant and memorable. We stayed from 7/18-7/21 in room 319. The room is spacious and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The chair and the couch in the room are not very comfortable, especially if you have a bad back. They sink in. The happy hour was a lot of fun. We sat on their huge porch and enjoyed our wine and snacks. There are ceiling fans, but I really recommend additional oscillating fans to keep all the mosquitos away. We still had a great time though. I put on tons of mosquito repellent. I would highly recommend staying at the Charleston Inn. It is a beautiful place and you get to meet one of the friendliest , most pleasant person in hospitality business, Mavia.

Lovely bed and breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave great recommendations. The rooms were comfortable. Short walk to the shops downtown in lieu of breakfast they offer a breakfast certificate to Arabella‘s, which is delicious. Loved hanging out on the front porch and feeding the squirrels. They also have teas coffee cider, hot chocolate, snacks, and juice, and water and soda available.
